The second event in the series titled “Career Days: Instrumental Education Department Students Meet Local Artists,” organized by the Instrumental Education Department of the Turkish Music State Conservatory at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University and aimed at contributing to students’ artistic and professional development, was held on March 11, 2026.

As part of the event, the program—moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Merve Nur Kaptan—featured local artist İlhan Küçükcivan, who met with the department’s students and shared his experiences from his artistic career.

Held in a talk format, the event included comprehensive evaluations by the artist on performance practice, repertoire development processes, and the professional dynamics encountered in the field of music. The program, which attracted strong interest from students, provided a qualified environment for the transfer of knowledge and experience.

During the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions related to traditional performance practices, stage experience, and career planning in music, drawing on the artist’s professional background. In this respect, the program created an important academic platform supporting both the theoretical and practical training processes of students.

At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented by the Director of the Turkish Music State Conservatory, Associate Professor Dr. Arda Göksu, to the event moderator Associate Professor Dr. Merve Nur Kaptan and to the participating artist İlhan Küçükcivan for their contributions. The event concluded with a group photo session to commemorate the day.
