Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University with an academic staff who are capable of producing scientific value at international level and who are dedicated to teaching, with their intensive and professionally oriented applied education,and with a current curricula designed together with sector representatives and research laboratories equipped with the latest technology provides the best education system to its students.

Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, which has been continuously growing since its foundation, started its academic life in 2006 with 15 faculties including 4 faculties, 1 institute and 1 college. Today, it continues its studies with 44 academic units including 10 faculties, 1 state conservatory, 3 institutes, 3 higher schools, 11 vocational schools, 11 practice and research centers and 5 department presidencies. We are on the way to becoming the most preferred university in our country. Today 36.000 students are continuing their education in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University. Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University is in interaction with  the universities from many parts of the world with its international relations and bilateral collaborations, especially in Balkan countries, as well as transforming the proximity of the hinterland to the Balkan geography and the global metropolis of Istanbul, as an opportunity for students and researchers. Having the goal of being internationally recognized and preferred university, it aims to be a brand university that offers easy transportation from abroad. In the academic year of 2017-2018, our university quota was 464 students for undergraduate programs, 42 for associate degree programs and 27 for graduate programs (27 with thesis) totally 533 students and  559 candidates from 33 different countries have applied for this quota.

In 2018-2019 Academic Year  applications for 576 undergraduate programs, 52 for associate degree programs, 60 for master's degrees and 2 for PhD students have increased. A total of 1143 candidates applied for being a member of NKU.
